Deck: Hanson/Roberts
Cards:
Queen/cups (R); King/pentacles (R); 3/swords

An emotionally fragile, naïve, and sweet woman; a usually stable male that seems to find himself in an unusual position, or in an unexpected situation, and here we go again. (This is so out-of-character for this King, that it had to take his partner totally by surprise, she didn't see this coming.) There is a third party, that horrid card, the three of swords. Something has been lost and not just physical things, but trust and honesty, and just the stability and security of knowing that your world is okay and everything is as it should be.  This is such an unnerving three cards.

The couple and their life have definitely been upset and off-centered by something heartbreaking, disturbing, and just plain sad... and sometimes, totally unnecessary.

5/pentacles; 2/pentacles; 10/cups

The next set of cards seem to act as an affirmation to the first set... there's the family card totally turned upside down, and the unrest and instability the couple are facing now is affecting their finances and the monetary materialistic part of their world.  I know, in the wake of all the emotional trauma, this may not seem as important, but it is -- if a house is owned and mortgage is due, if their is a lot of debt, if they can't pay their monthly household bills, if there is outstanding debt on credit cards, cars, etc.  It makes for a mess and a ton more stress, just what you don't need.

The High Priestess (R); 10/pentacles (R); Page/swords (R)

All reversed.  Expect unpleasant or confrontational messages; expect legal papers with terms that may seem harsh; expect the money to be held in limbo until an agreement or conclusion is reached.  Throughout all this, there is the High Priestess, probably caught off guard, unsure of her decisions, or unsure of her accusations, or unsure of the direction she really wants to go.

For both parties... Stop.

Just stop.  Take a time-out; take a deep breath; re-analyze the situation; make lists of pros and cons; seek solutions; look for mediators; look for common ground.  Put salve on open wounds.  Seek the company of those you find most comforting and supportive.  You may also need a change of scenery; a total break with the situation and the location, at least for a brief time.

This is a process, and it will have to play out to its natural conclusion.

I'm so sorry for this negative reading!  I was going to trash these cards and do a re-draw, but there is someone out there who I believe needs to see them.

  5. Well as usual, just checked out today's reading, you are right on the money. All three cards describe everything in my life right now. Of course I connected with the 6 of cups. Dead accurate. Thank you.

  6. My card was #3 and it was spot on. The relationship that ended was not a romantic one but one with my best friend. We had been best friends since we were 14 years old. The past year or two I have had to put up boundaries with her because of the way she is choosing to live her life now. She is in no way the person she used to be. With her latest action (which had serious legal ramifications for her) I had to let her go, to sever that tie. As you mentioned, I did indeed feel guilty about it but I also understand I can't have that type of energy in my life and expect good things to come to me. It's like getting a new sofa without first moving the old one out. Where is the room for all the good stuff? It's disappointing as I tried over and over to help her out of her darkness, but I know this is for the best. I appreciate your reading and how it validated my decision. Thank you and blessed be.

  7. I Picked Card Two, and it fit perfect, even if it did get me a slight scolding for not getting busy. Peace and Love.Margie

  8. I picked card 3 this resonated with me as many aspects of my life are coming together after falling apart. I remember the lessons I learned. I'm in a better financial situation I don't have to be as frugal and go without as I did in the past. Yet I don't go hog wild now.
